Where is Sycamore Square Apartments located?

Two blocks from the west end of the BGSU campus at the corner of Manville & Lehman Avenue.

Are appliances included?

Yes. Each apartment has an electric range, refrigerator, dishwasher and a garbage disposal.

How big are the apartments?

Each one bedroom unit is approximately 625 square feet.

Are laundry facilities available?

Washers and dryers are located on site.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not permitted.

How much storage is available?

Each apartment has a large 6’ x 8’ bedroom closet, coat closet, linen closet, and plenty of kitchen cabinets.

How long is the lease, when can I move in?

Leases at Sycamore Square are twelve months with the majority beginning mid August.

Where can I park?

Plenty of free off street parking is available between the three buildings.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Sycamore Square Apartments & Houses is a smoke-free property. Smoking is prohibited on the property as defined by the BGSU Clean Air & Smoking Policy.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes - it is equal to one month’s rent and payable at lease signing. The deposit is refundable less any damages within 30 days of lease termination date provided tenant provides a self addressed envelope.

Are utilities included?

The tenant is responsible for gas, electric, cable and internet. Individual gas furnaces and cooling units are centrally controlled by a thermostat in living room. I'm interested in signing a lease, what next?

Interested tenants submit an Application to Rent as well as proof of graduate status. Proof can be copy of graduate ID or letter from department indicating acceptance to graduate program. The leasing process is complete when a lease is signed and security deposit paid.

What if I have maintenance concern or an emergency after hours?
